Data we collect

- Correspondence you send by email or phone.
- Technical data such as browser type and pages viewed if you accept analytics cookies.
- Client engagement data necessary to deliver audits and related services under contract.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests and, where applicable, steps prior to contract.
- Delivering contracted services — performance of a contract.
- Improving the website with analytics — consent, where you accept optional cookies.
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with IT or email providers who process it on our instructions, professional advisers, or authorities when required by law. Client audit files are shared only as agreed in the engagement letter (for example with your named contacts or, with your instruction, a funder).
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months unless you become a client. Engagement records are retained for at least six years after the engagement ends, or longer where professional or legal requirements apply.
International transfers
Where tools store data outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
